I am sorry, but I don't think so.
There is official tech spec for iPhone 4s, and here is it battery specification:
- Talk time: Up to 8 hours on 3G, up to 14 hours on 2G (GSM)
- Standby time: Up to 200 hours
- Internet use: Up to 6 hours on 3G, up to 9 hours on Wi-Fi
- Video playback: Up to 10 hours
- Audio playback: Up to 40 hours
We can calculate percentage use for each item from list above.
- Talk time: Up to 8 hours on 3G (I use 3G). 100 (battery full charge) / 8 = 12.5. IPhone has to use 12.5 percent per hour in this mode.
- Standby time: Up to 200 hours. 100 / 200 = 0.5 % per hour.
- Internet use: Up to 6 hours on 3G, up to 9 hours on Wi-Fi. (I don't use it)
- Video playback: Up to 10 hours (I don't use it)
- Audio playback: Up to 40 hours (I don't use it)
And we have ~0.5% per hour on standby mode and ~12.5% per hour on talk time - SMS and I suggest 3G internet use. But this numbers for iPhone on normal mode, it's mean with internet, iCloud, email and other services. But a disabled all of these and I don't have even these numbers.
That is calculation for my battery life time:
Usage: 4 hours, 40 munities. 4.4 * 12.5 = 55%
Standby: 1 day, 16 hours. 40 * 0.5 = 20%
20 + 55 = 75%
There is 25%? And why I have much better numbers when I disable cellular if I even don't use it?
Why I can’t use full iPhone functions and have battery lifetime from official tech spec? I paid for full iPhone, but I can use full function only when IPhone on charge.
I think this is not normal. Do you think so?
For example, my New IPad has no problem with battery and I use full function on it with normal battery lifetime.
