Q: After installing iCloud Control Panel for Windows version 2.1.2 I am now unable to send emails from my existing non- apple email accounts

After installing iCloud Control panel for PC v 2.1.2 I can now longer send emails from Outlook 2010 using my existing email accounts ( non- apple). I get message "Could not complete the operation. one or more parameter values are not valid" when I click on the Send button on the email. It does not even go to the Outbox folder. Any help gratefully received!
