Q: Setting up time machine

I have just set up the time machine using MBP and BT home hub. My question is should I now disconnect the time capsule from the hub and can I move the time machine to another location away from the BT hub?

The Time Capsule must be connected permanently to the modem. If not, you won't get Internet.

If you are using the BT home hub to connect the Time Capsule to the modem, don't unplug it

Thank you. So what is the advantage of selecting Time machine as time machine for wifi network over BT? I just have 2 wifi network to connect to. I assume I need to be connected to time machine network for backup. Is this correct and also plug my printer to time machine rather than BT home hub. Please advice

Correct. If you are connected to the Time Capsule, connect the printer to the Time Capsule. It will simplify the use of the printer, as it may fail if it's connected to the modem instead of your Time Capsule
