So I am trying to set up my Apple TV (3rd Gen) in my college dorm. I have set everything up, but I cannot log into Home Sharing via Apple TV. It says my password is wrong or my Apple ID is wrong, and I know it is not my ID. What is going on here?
Also, AirPlay is turned on, on the Apple TV, but the AirPlay option does show up on my computer?
And How do I get to the main menu of Apple TV where I can see Hulu, ESPN, YouTube, etc, all I have to select is this.
some "public" wifi networks block tons of ports to stop torrents so could be they blocked the ports used for appletv to access sharedlib and airplay to work
No my friend just down the hall has his Apple TV set and is working fine.
I am in the same exact position!!! I get stuck at the smae exact screen! My apple TV even says that there are other apple tvs in the same dorm, I just cant get mine to work! If you figure out to make it work, please notfiy me. It would be deeply appreciated.
I have the same problem after the 6.0 update. No Store. No Movies. No Channels. I can play via Home Sharing from my iMac, but get no sound. Is there anyone here that can fix this?
