Having to click twice to load web page

I use Google Chrome as my browser. It's been a few months now that I need to click on a particluar page (from the shortcut bar) twice in order to load it. If I click once, I just get a blank screen, which does not load / send error messages or freeze. If I click again on the icon again, it will eventually load it.

Whilst I appreciate this is not a big issue, it is still annoying. This doew not happen on my IBM laptop.

Any suggestions?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

From the Chrome menu bar click Chrome > Clear Browsing Data

Select the following

Clear history, cookies, empty the cache then click Clear Browsing Data

Quit and relaunch Chrome to test.

I did what you suggested, but unfortuntaley it did not solve the issue.

It is a very sporadic problem. Sometimes the page would load, but most of the times it takes two clicks...

Any other suggestion?
