Q: having trouble with my trackpad does it have to be sent off for repair

Having trouble with my trackpad,it freezes up computer whenever I touch it. Now I'm using a wireless mouse to operarte. Does this sound like something I will have to send off to be repaired?

Hey Betty2241,

Thanks for the question. Let's try a few things first:

1) It'll be a great troubleshooting step to reset the SMC:
