Q: Music stops playing when the display on my iPod nano (6th generation) goes dim. No matter which headphones I use, there is the same problem. I've reset. I've updated the itunes software. And I've restored. The problem persists so I can't use my iPod.
My iPod Nano (6th Generation) stops playing when the display goes dim. This happens no matter which headphones I use.
I have done a manual reset, downloaded the updated itunes software, and done a system restore. Basically, I can't use my iPod, which is frustrating and there is no Apple store near me.
Thanks for a solution.

Get a maginifying glass and a flashlight and inspect the headphone jack. Clean out any dirt, debris, obstructions you find. Now plug the headphones all the way in, there should be no space between the plastic on the headset jack and the of the Nano.
