Windows update install (from iTunes or manually) "can't find C:\programdata\....DIFxINST64.exe"

iTunes update or install (run as administrator) errors out with the following: "Windows cannot find 'C:\ProgramData\34BE82C4-E596-4e99-52C6199EBF69\x64\DIFxINST64.exe'. Make sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again."


If I click OK, the install continues and then tells me "Errors occurred....try installing manually" >>> Same Result.

ASUS PC-OTHER, Windows 7
