I think I missed a call, but it didn't show up in my call log, any way to check for sure?

I was working in the basement, so not the best signal.

I took my phone out of my pocket and briefly saw a notification, with two boxes on the bottom like a missed call. But I bumped a button and it closed. I don't show any missed calls or voicemails, but I need to know for sure, I'm wating on the results from an interview.

Thanks for any help!

In order for a call to show in recents, the call has to make it to the phone. If you're in an area of very poor signal, the call may never get to the phone but will go instead to voice mail, where your caller may or may not leave a message. I realize that doesn't explain what you seem to have seen recently. However, it would explain other instances where you've had no notification but a voice mail.

Best of luck.
