Has anyone any idea what these beeps mean? Apart from the beeps the machine is completly dead - I have verified that the RAM and hard drive are OK so suspect motherboard or processor.

Beeps on startup:
1 beep = no RAM installed
2 beeps = incompatible RAM types
3 beeps = no good banks
4 beeps = no good boot images.
5 beeps = processor is not usable
yes, but the beep pattern does not appear to conform to any of the above?
Got the 3 beep alarm and knew it was bad or unseated ram. However the new iMacs are sealed. What to do?
Well, I tipped the imac on it's side and lighty tapped the dislplay edge on the table about 3 times.
Startup and no beep. everythings a-ok...
