    Hi,

The type of connection should not matter

Holding down Apple/CMD ( or ⌘) and the v key Pastes on a Mac.

The CMD key on the Mac is the one next to the Space Bar at either End.

I do have  Microsoft Wireless Keyboard that tells me that the similar key on that keyboard is called the ALT key.

The Software that runs the keyboard on my Mac also allows me to interchange the Start/Windows key and the ALT key

That is to say that on a Mac, on the left hand side of the Space bar is works outwards (further left) with Command, ALT then Control and some keyboards you then have a Fn key.

On the Windows/Microsoft one they go ALT, Windows and then Control.
