interrupted streaming with New AirPort Extreme

Since getting the new AirPort Extreme, I find that I have many, many more "bufferings" when streaming radio. I would say 4 x as many as I did with the old (flat) AE. Has anyone else had this problem? Would anyone know what I can do to eliminate it?
