my friend switched from an iphone to samsung and now she deosnt recieve my texts becuse they are only sending as an imessage but i can recieve her texts. how do i fix this?

Your friend needs to disable iMessage in her profile. That can be done with the old phone, or by logging into her support profile and removing the phone from the list. If she is receiving SMS from other iPhone users and you are the only one that she is not receiving from, I suggest that you delete any message thread you have with her and do a reset on your phone. Hold the sleep/wake and home button together until you see the Apple logo and then release. After the phone restarts, have her send you a message and see if you can reply to hers. You can also try deleting her contact, and then recreating it after she sends a message and see if that corrects the issue.

When you try to send her a message, it is showing up as a green bubble or a blue bubble?
its blue. i dont want to have to hold the messge down and manually press send as text message after every text
For some reason, your phone still believes she is using iMessage.
If you remove her from your contacts, remove any message thread and reset your phone, if you try and send a new message by typing in just the phone number without her contact in the phone at all, it still attempts to send as an iMessage?
I would not know why that is if she is able to get SMS from other iPhone users. Ask one of them if they had to do anything special to be able to send SMS to this friend.
yeah we've done all of that! and they didnt have to do anything for it to be sms
Okay, so if you removed all reference to her and you try to send a message, it still attempts an iMessage? I cannot understand why it is still believing on your phone that this person would still receive an iMessage.
Maybe someone else will come in here and know something I don't, but that is all I know to try. You can always try a Google search to see if you can find something similar on another site that might provide an answer.
In settings go to messages.an turn I message off?
While that could help for a moment, it would prevent the OP from sending iMessages to other iMessage users. Not always the optimum solution.
