I am on 10.8.4 and need to run MainStage 2.
I have Logic 9.1.8 and Mainstage 2.1.3 updates installed.
I understand 9.1.8 was the latest version before Logic X, but that 2.2.2 is in fact the latest version before MainStage 3.
I understand that 2.2.2 was a paid upgrade from 2.1.3, but how do I get it now MainStage 3 is out?
I cannot see MainStage 2 on the App Store.
How can I fully upgrade MainStage 2 on OS 10.8.4 before going to MainStage 3?

MS 2.2 was a purchased (paid) ugrade via the AppStore. If you did not buy it before MS 3 was released, you are probably out of luck. MS3 would be your only option.

Hmm if Apple don't allow new installs of 2.2.2 anymore then that is a problem for my work...

Why, if MS2.1.3 is working OK for you?
MS2.2 has a new audio engine, which is further improved in MS3.
MS3 has some new features like MIDI FX, support for Smart Controls, etc (and a load of bugfixes).
MS2 and MS 3 will co-exist and run happily on the same Mac too.
