Hello! I am using bootcamp on my mac mini, but when the computer restarted on the windows side, i get a black screen with the message "Remove disks or other media. Press any key to restart". But when I press the keys on my keybord nothing happens. Why? I tried to eject the windows instalation disk, but it didn't make any difference. What am I supposed to do?

I tried to restart by holding down the boot key on the mac, but now I get black screen with the message "No bootable device -- insert boot disk and press any key". It seems like the keyboard is not recognized by the computer or something.
Also it's worth to note that I am using an external disk drive that is not made by apple. I have tried to reboot many times now, but I always get either the "Remove disk..." error or the "no bootable device..." one. Seriously, I need help with this!! I know about the option key while startup, so I am not stuck like many other people with this problem. I just want bootcamp to work! Help!
Don't need to be worried about buying and using "Apple" device, you do though have to limit what is connected during install, and the partition type of the drive (not just FAT or HFS)\
Apple has posted a workaround for a problem installing Windows 7 from an external DVD drive on the new MacBook Air (referred to as "Mid 2013") using Boot Camp. The symptoms include Windows booting into a black screen and error messages. The workaround is not the same as those for similar problems with other Mac models that we have previously reported.
When installing Windows 7 using the Boot Camp Assistant, users may see a black screen or one of the following error messages:
The workaround involves booting the Mac back into OS X, deleting the Boot Camp partition with the Boot Camp Assistant, and recreating a Boot Camp partition while a USB storage device is connected to a USB port. The USB devices needs to be freshly erased and formatted as MS-DOS (FAT) using Disk Utility.
This is the important (and odd) part: Apple specifies that the reinstallation must be done with the DVD drive connected to the USB port on the right side of the MacBook Air (Mid 2013), and with the USB storage device connected to the left-side USB port.

I just successfully installed Windows 8.1 Update 1 on BootCamp on Mac OS X Yosemite. Here is a step by step I just wrote, hope it helps y'all:
How to successfully install Windows 8, or above, on Mac OS X Mavericks or above:
Requirements:
1- Windows OS ISO Image file
2- An 8GBs USB Flash Drive
3- A good Internet connection as you will need to download the Windows compatible drivers for your Mac
Steps:
1- Open up Disk Utility and create an additional partition for Windows formatted as ExFat. 100GBs, or above, is recommended as update to the operating system, as well as Apps requiere space on your HD or SSD [This step can be done during Mac OS X's installation process]
2- Open up BootCamp Assistant
3- Make sure only the 'Create a Windows 7 or later version install disk' is checked and your USB Flash Drive plugged in and click 'Continue'
4- Click 'Choose' and select your Windows ISO Image file
5- Select the USB Flash Drive you will be using during the installation process and click continue to confirm
6- Once done, restart your Mac and hold down the 'alt/option' key on your keyboard to bring up the Boot Menu
7- Select the USB Flash Drive named Windows, not the UEFI Boot
8- Install Windows as you normally would
* Remember to press and hold the 'alt/option' key, and select the Windows Partition, whenever the installation process requires your Mac to restart
