I've just started getting a deluge of spam from .mac addresses.

All emails have the same body - some type of job opportunity. This has never happened before. Making it worse, though they are able to be herded into the Junk folder, the option to delete Junk Mail is not available. Curiously, this happened right after IMAP rejected by Mail password, and I had to log into and out of iCloud to fix the password issue.

Any ideas/fixes?

Thanks in advance,

Thanks Old Toad.

I just sent the offending spam to abuse@mac.com and spam@icloud.com as attachments. Hopefully some deligence on my part will rectify this over time.

I thought I'd wake up this morning to find dozens of emails, but none. Then three just popped up around 11:30AM. I guess the culprit decided to go to Sunday services, or sleep in! 😝

And I found the setting that I tinkered with that eliminated the erase junk mail folder. All is good there now.
