Using ITunes Match

Using ITunes Match but my ipad shows 8g of music in storage. Why is this? I have checked and no songs in ITunes showing as stored on Ipad. There are a lot of music videos in the videos tab. Is it likely to be these. They don't look like they are downloaded either as they show as 0b when I click on them. Thanks for your help in advance

The more music you play on iTunes Match, the more space it will take up on your iPad. All music played is stored in the iPads cache and takes up space so it plays instantly the next time you play it. To get rid of it, turn off iTunes Match occasionally and then turn it back on.

In short, the music that has been played is stored on your iPad but is only accesible through Match. It's an actual copy of each track in the iPads cache.

I've had it take up as much as 4 GB before.
