Q: My mac will not print anything.

I know it isn't my printer. The icon in my dock won't even show up for my printer when I click print. It's as if I didn't click anything. What can I do to fix it?

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)
