Songs only play 5 seconds on iTunes

I've read just about every thread there is regarding this issue, yet can still not fix the problem. It's not purchased music from iTunes, its music that was already on my hardrive and in my iTunes. I've tried deleting the tracks and restoring them and I've tried creating a AAC version of the files as well, which still didn't work. If someone has a solution to this, I'd greatly appreciate your help. Thank you!
