Airplay not working for games anymore. Can anybody help.

I just bought a new Apple TV, I had a previous one before, and now airplay does not work for games on my ipad 2. I have checked and tried everything that I can do on my own. On my old Apple TV I was able to use airplay with games and with netflix and now it won't work. Airplay is working with YouTube but that's it. Is this something new? Can anyone help?
