How to move volume from a TC to the new one

Good morning

I have purchased a new TC (the old one was to tight for 2 computers being backed up). Was helped to move the configiration from the old TC to the new one. Now I have to move the volumes (2 computers) from the old to the new. If I used wireless it may take ages.

Can I connect them with an ethernet cable (using which port) to ensure a fast and safe transport for the volumes?

Thanks in advance for help.

Best

Pierre

As long as both TC are bridged or one bridged and one router then it will work fine.. you cannot use ethernet if the TC is set to wireless extend.

Plug the old TC LAN port into the new TC LAN port..

Old TC in bridge mode.

IMHO it is much better to archive the old ones.. and start TM afresh on the new TC.. but that is purely personal.
