Record midi with external instrument; Bass station II

Good day,

I am stuck at the following problem....

Yesterday I received the new bass station II. I am using this as a midi controller and a hardware synth.

As midi controller it works fine. i can control soft synths and learn controller assignments.

It is technically possible to record midi data from the bass station to logic, but I can't manage this to work properly.

When I open a new track as external instrument i can record midi notes, but no filter or modwheel movements.

everything is properly setup in OSX (midi configuration)

Logics control surface doesn't recognize the bass station as standard model, but I can assign midi in and out to a other device. And this setup works as midi controller.

I appreciate a response MUCH

Kind Regards,

Joost

Do you see any recognition of Mod Wheel movement in Logic? If you create an instrument track for one of Logic's built-in synths does the Mod Wheel affect the sound?

is the ModWheel on the BS-II set to it's default setting?
