Can I replace my iPhone 5 under warranty with a faulty battery?

I have had my phone for about 9 months and recently the battery has become faulty. It turns off and wants to be charged at 20% and then when i plug it in to charge it says it has 30-50% charge and it's really frustrating me! It also freezes sometimes. Do i have to pay to get it fixed or can I get a replacement?
