pages will not open.

Hi Biancak,

Possibly Pages is trying to open a large (or corrupted) document that was open when you last quit. Try starting Pages while you hold down the shift key.

If that works, best advice is to close all open documents before quitting an app. Or let the system do it for you:

System Preferences > General > Close windows when quitting an application.

Another useful setting:

System Preferences > General > Ask to keep changes when closing documents.

Hello, I have this same problem. i tried the solution given to Bianca (holding the shift key while opening Pages), but it don't work. Actually, it stopped working whale I was working on a document, no long, no images... Thanks for any help.
