How do I mass delete icloud emals on my iPad?

iPad 2, iOS 6.1.3

unfortunately, you can't, not from the iPad anyway. You may be able to if you access the account via a computer but I haven't tried it. THe ability to mass delete mails is something many people want but has yet to be programmed.


You can always contact apple and send them feedback and add your request to others. There's a 'contact us' link on the bottom right of this page.

I hope Apple is listening -- the limits on system 6 prevented the ridiculous 6500 emails I now have on my iPhone. I'm not a programmer, but the ability to delete emails does not sound advanced to me in any way. I'm interested to know if it is for some bizzare reason.


Archiving seems straightforward enough...does Apple actually just want us to be forced to purchase more disk space? I like keeping all my messages on my server, but deleting them on my iPhone. It seems I am not alone.
