Q: my macbook air 11inch 2013 have sound and blinking filemap after startup

comes to a halt with blinking filemap with a '?'

after a while goes black screen

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), localization language shifts

    note: No OS X so no Apple so no version and build

            no wifi,

     

            all this happened after a LAN breakdown by a faulty switch (now gone)

            My TimeMachine is on a Dlink NAS Sharecenter
