I use both a desktop iMac, and a Laptop (MacBook Air), and use Apple's "Mail" program with POP accounts. Incoming mail comes to both computers. But if I send an email from the laptop, I would like to have a copy of it on the desktop. Is there a way to automatically forward myself a copy of all emails I write on the laptop? I looked at the "Rules" options, but didn't see anything.

It would be easier to store your sent mail on the server. Then it will be accessible from any machine.
Uh, I'm not sure how I would go about doing that on a POP account. Do you know? I would need to upload the email to the server, than download it back to the second computer. On IMAP accounts it would be easy.
You can set it to always cc you in the Preferences.
Also, set up your laptop to never delete messages from the server and set your desktop to delete them after a period of time, like a week. That way, all the incoming email should be stored on your desktop.
Thanks Barney, that's what I was looking for. I missed it on my first cruise through the Preferences options, but took another look and found it after getting your post.

Some ISP's only offer POP, and that's the only thing anyone knows. Mine just switched to having IMAP as an option.
