My iPhone’s Wi-Fi

I don't know why but ever since I switch to Comast and have been using their wireless unit all of our iPnone 4's have been getting kicked off the home Wi-Fi about 10 to 15 minutes after I turn off my laptop and cannot reconnect until I turn my laptop back on. My son was the one to first notice this. I went to Comcast and had them give me another wirless router and now this one has started to do the same thing. Are there any other people out there having this same issue. I have found a work around and that is to connect my wireless router to theirs.

Sounds to me like the router. Try these steps first in this article http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1398. Then Try these steps (changing info on router itself) in this article http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4199.

I've been through two of Comcast wireless routers and they bough worked great for a few weeks then they started kicking my iphones off ever time I turn my laptop off. my other wireless devices have no issue just the iphones. I find it strange that my iphones are the only thing that get kicked off my Wi-Fi.

Now this new wireless router has started kicking off all of my wifi devices until I turn my laptop back on.

if you did all of those steps in article and changed routers then the only thing to try is backup (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1766) and restore (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414). if it is still an issue you can call apple and see if any known issue with the router or maybe a repair.

From what I have found out today other people like me that are with Comcast and using the Arris TG862 wireless router are having the same issue that I am and have had no luck with getting it fixed with a I guess a level one support person and they want to charge people to get a person to help at the next level of support.
