Here's the thing about waterproof cases; actually, it's the exact same thing as cases that never claimed to be waterproof.


They are all 100% waterproof until they are 100% not waterproof. If you get your iPhone dried out and operational, create a backup and use that to restore your new iPhone.


If your iPhone never becomes operational again, make sure to keep your new iPhone away from water. Of course, keeping an iPhone away from water is good advice regardelss of the circumstances.
