I don't recall my password for any of my base stations. Is the best way redo it just resetting it to the factory settings?

A Soft Reset will give you 5 minutes of free access to go in and reset your passwords, without affecting the network settings.

If you want to start all over and wipe out everything, a Factory Default Reset will do the job.
