Where can I acquire the iWorks to install on my Mac? I have version 10.6.8. The person at the Apple store said it should be available in the Apps Store but I can't find it.
The Mac App Store versions aren't compatible with 10.6.8; you'll either need to upgrade the computer's OS(if it's compatible) or buy an iWork retail package from a source such as Amazon or eBay.
If it matters, the Mac App Store sells Pages, Keynote, and Numbers individually.
I'm not able to upgrade past the Snow Leopard on my Mac. I tried the Apps store and couldn't find and part of the iWorks that would work on my machine. I need to know what versions.
Thanks Neil for your hellp.
None of them will. You need to buy any iWork retail package from a source such as Amazon or eBay.
iWorks should be on the DVDs that originally came w/your computer as it was pre-installed when you purchased same. iWorks should be inside the iLife folder. What happened to it?
iWork isn't a component of iLife; unless otherwise specified in a customized order, any version bundled with a Mac is a time-limited trial and viewer.
So noted. Thanks for the heads up Niel.
