Q: Cannot connect. Continues to ask for "Login Keychain" which I never initiated. How do I eliminate the "login keychain" requirement?
On my MacBook Pro only, I continually receive a 'window' asking for my "Login Keychain Password" - when using Safari, Mail, attempting to use FaceTime (Messaging Activity Login Keychain Password) , etc. - I have never entered a Login Keychain password for any application that I know of. I have attempted to eliminate the keychain 'requirements' under the Keychain application...all to no avail. How do I eliminate the "Login Keychain" requirement completely????
Thanks in advance for any assistance. jtt

Hello jtwilley,
While the keychain cannot be disabled, under normal circumstances the keychain password will be the same as your login password (the same password used to log into the computer, install Software Updates, etc), and should rarely present a request to be unlocked. The keychain can be reset, which will allow you to set things straight and keep the keychain quiet.
