Hello,
How do I tell my screen size? is it measured diagonally? Can I find it under my iMac Hardware Overview?
I want to buy a new larger screen version but need to check first.
Thanking you 🙂
Peter

In the iMac hardware Overview, what is your iMac's model identifier number?
This should tell you what your screen size is. Just put in your serial number.

Yes, though it is a nominal value. If you want to replace the LCD screen itself determine your iMac's exact model identifier - it will resemble a format such as iMac10,1 - and buy a replacement from a reputable vendor.
Hello Peter,
Yes; like a TV screen, the size can be ascertained by measuring the actual screen, not the frame surround, diagonally.
