how high can i update my safari?

i'm having trouble loading certain sites such as outlook, and a help thread on their site has said that my current version of safari isn't supported or something of the sort. i've tried updating safari before but i've gotten too advanced versions for my computer that i couldn't use. so what is the highest version of safari that i can install on my macbook? its a snow leopard 10.6.8 and i'm currently running safari 5.0.5

MacBook, Mac OS X (10.7.3)

With the same OS as you, my Safari is 5.1.9. Assuming you are software updated to the max, 5.1.9 is where you should be.

thanks, while i was waiting for replies i found a post and updated safari to 5.1.9. which solved my problem. my mac is a 10.6.8. i don't remember selecting that my mac was a 10.7.3 but if i did it was accidental. i've changed it now so theres no future confusion.
anyway thanks for the help i'll still say that your original post solved my problem since it was the solution anyway.

thanks again
