You are not talking to Apple here, we're just users like you.

If you purchased more storage on icloud, you went throught the Settings>iCloud and in a sub menu, you choose to add more storage and were told how much it would cost.  I don't understand the "unknowingly", unless someone else who has access to your account (family member?) did it.

At any rate, you have 15 days to ask for a refund...

    Refund:

If in the US, follow the link below (you must request a refund within 15 days) -

    https://discussions.apple.com/message/16968425#16968425

it gives the USA phone number - if you don't live there you will have to find an equivalent number from the 'Contact Us' link at bottom right of this page.

Can we just eliminate one possibility - were you previously a MobileMe subscriber who then migrated to iCloud in August last year? People in this case got a free storage upgrade for a year. If you have this, you were not charged, and it will revert to the free 5GB on October 1st.

If this is not your situation, have you actually seen the charge on your credit card? When did this happen?

If it was less than 15 days ago the method for dealing with it is linked to above. If it was less than 45 days ago you may be able to cancel it for a proportional refund (same method).

If it was more than 45 days then it's not cancellable until next year: however you could contact Apple by the same method and make the case this this has happened in error (though I imagine it will have to be their error and not yours if you are to get a refund).
