Internet Connection Freezing on Macbook...again

I had this problem a couple of months back and came here to solve the problem. Luckily I found my answer quickly. I looked through past discussions, there was a suggestion about unintentionally installing malware and checking recently added extentions to browsers, that was my problem. I had recently added a suspicious/ untrustworthy extention to Firefox. I uninstalled it and was fine.

The only thing I can think of this time is I was given a digital scrapbooking program and asked to review it for my blog. Also asked to become an affiliate member for their company. I offer giveaways every 3 months, I post a button on my blog with a $10 off code for my followers, every time they use this code I get a small comission. I like the software so I have no problem doing this. They have a lot of free templates and lots of inexpensive ones. I bought one yesterday and shortly thereafter the freezing problem happens again.

My question: Is there any other way to find out which program is causing the problem besides uninstalling it? I'd rather not uninstall it if I don't have to. I'm looking for the most efficient way to solve this problem.

Thanks!
