MacBook Pro storage issue?

Hi everyone,

My 2012 MacBook Pro has a 500GB HDD.

I'm having an issue with storage. This morning I had 150.49GB free (according About this Mac>More info...>Storage). Then I deleted 8GB of Video's from my computer. And now it's saying I have 149.89GB free. I don't understand what's going on?

Can anyone shed light on what's going on? I just can't understand it. I've been noticing this for a while.

If you need more info, let me know.

Thank you for all your help!

You may notice a difference in available space statistics between Disk Utility, Finder, and Get Info inspectors. This is expected and can be safely ignored. The Finder displays the available space on the disk without accounting for the local snapshots, because local snapshots will surrender their disk space if needed.
