What is the AppleIntelHD4000GLDriver on iMac 2012

Hi

I've notice two grpahics cards showing up on my Intel based iMac, bought in 2012. One is the Nvidia Geforce GT 640m & the other is AppleIntelHD4000GraphicsGLdriver. What does this mean?

iMac, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)

The first is the graphics card, as shown in Apple Menubar icon->About this Mac->More Info->graphics and the second is just a driver for graphics cards. You only have one card.
