no right click option in logic pro x

hi,

I'm trying to set my right click mouse button to open the tools menu in logic pro x. But there is no option to do this in logic pro>preferences>general> 'editing' ... there is in the manual... but not in the software... I have a new new imac with an intellimouse and its set up to use the right click option in the mac system preferences... is this a bug in the software or are I doing something wrong?? Help!!! :-)

thanks

Note:

The reason is... because when you first install Logic Pro X it asks if you have used Logic Pro before or if you are new to Logic Pro.

Select 'New to Logic Pro' option and you get the Garageband Pro Mode.... with all the advanced features turned off..

Select "I have used Logic pro before" option and all the advanced features get turned on.. and so you get "Full Logic Pro X' mode...

Of course no one knows that as it's not posted with the download... or is it?

So far I haven't met or heard one person say "I'm sure glad Logic installed with reduced functionality". Instead it's caused confusion without any positive benefits that I can see. C'mon Apple, our culture is getting dumbed down enough as it is, don't add to it.

During the installation? Sort of....

There are Apple's 'question marks' you can click that will tell you what each option does but then who clicks on those!

The reality is.. I think it's very confusing too.. and would be easier if they put things in 'Full Logic Pro" mode to begin with ... with an option in the menu bar, to simplify things if one is a beginner and learning the app.... (Those personally I think even a beginner needs some of the 'hidden' items) or if you don't need all the advanced facilities... and just want a more advanced Garageband type app...
