When trying to update my iPad it has frozen with the iTunes logo and a cable showing. Holding the on/off switch with the screen button does not reset. Nor can we shut it off, help

You probably have to put it in recovery mode now and restore it. Something went wrong when you updated the iPad. If you backed up before you updated the device, you will be able to restore the backup, sync with iTunes and you should be fine.


Try a conventional restore first. This explains how to do it. Read all the way to the bottom and see the section unde Additional Information for the link to Recovery Mode.
