Cannot Input New Data

Hello,

I created a simple spreadsheet months ago to track bills. This week, I added a few new rows and now cannot input any data. When I type in the cell and hit enter, the data vanishes. Also, I am unable to update my totals formulas. Not sure what has happened.

I am still able to work on other spreadsheets so I do not think it is a software problem.

Problem is consistent between OSX and iOS versions of numbers. OSX version is 09' version 2.3. iOS version 09' 1.7.3

Have you restarted Numbers? Have you rebooted the machine?

James,

I could just be one of those odd file corruptions that has no easy explanation. Try Copying what you can and Paste it into a fresh blank document. If all goes well, you can trash the bad document and continue with the new one.
