Specifically, I noticed the App, The Blaze has a in-app purchase: a subsrciption to TheBlazeTVplus which is $9.99 a month. Would I be billed from my giftcard credit or would it bill me by mail. (I have no credit cards on account)
The iTunes Store does not bill. All purchases and subscriptions require a valid payment method, either a credit card or a prepaid card or gift certificate. Most in-app purchases can be made from a gift card balance but not all. Some do require a credit card. Contact the developer of The Blaze and ask.
