You may need to roll back a previous iTunes library to get the data back. The data should still be on the computer as well. Check out the article below for the steps to get you sorted out.

Sep 12, 2013 2:15 PM in response to TheGirlWithTheRedGuitarby abombaci,If you have your iTunes folder backed up on an external hard drive and only this method, you can go to your external hard drive and click on the iTunes music folder and then in iTunes at the upper top click (add folder to library) and your library should start filling up but only if you have it backed up first. This is the method I used when I switched from Windows to Mac and had to transfer my music over to Mac.
