Merging my old iPhone data with new one

I lost my iPhone 2-3 months ago and it has data in it. I got a new iPhone and used same iCloud account. Now my iCloud limit is out. Upon enquiring I found out under my settings > iCloud, it shows iPhone data of lost one and current one. Which means they are not merged. How can I merge my lost iPhone data with this?

iPhone 4S, iOS 6.1.4

To restore an iCloud backup you have to start by erasing your device. If you have any data on it now that is not contained in the backup you want to restore from (such as recent pictures), you'll need to save those first. After doing so go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings (which will erase your phone), then go through the setup screens on your phone and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. Be sure it is connected to wifi and your charger while it is restoring the backup.

oh, thats sad. my iphone got lost 3-4 months back. haven't shown up on icloud yet. suppose if it does, and i delete incomplete backup and when that mobile is connected to net, will it delete all data. i wonder why my phone haven't shown on icloud yet. isn't there a way to find last know location? what are chances of people breaking the password on iphone? like people who jailbreak?

If it's been that long, the chances are extremely low that it will ever show up again. If it was stolen, it's highly likely that it was simply wiped and resold by now.

I suspect that simple 4-digit passcode lock can be cracked by someone who knows what they are doing, but the motivation of a theif is usually to quickly sell the device, not access your data.

iCloud doesn't locate your device on a map until you try to do so on icloud.com. For privacy reasons, it doesn't maintain any history of where it has been prior to that, unless it was placed in lost mode by the owner. If it's offline or doesn't show on the device list, you will not be able to locate it or see it's last location.

If you delete the backup, it only keeps someone from restoring it to the device (which can't be done anyway if it is incomplete). It won't delete anything on the device.
