How to update from iOS 4.2.1 when the software update does not show up in settings? iTunes will not update it either.
I have restored my iPhone because it stopped working. Now, the 'update software' tab in general settings does not even appear. I have tried updating the iOS through iTunes, but it says it is up to date—which it is not. I have iOS 4.2.1 and need 5 or higher to download my apps. Any ideas?
