Connecting form Perl to MySQL

Hy,
I've installed a MySQL Database on my Mac and want to connect from Perl to MySQL, but always when I try this, there comes an error message, that the DBI-Module is missing. Where can I find it and how do I install it? Do I need a DBD-Module also? Do I have to use the Terminal? scary
