Facetime iPad - incorrect orientation of image

This is the on-going problem that I have:

I Facetime from my iPad to my Wife's iPad.

When she connects, my image/video is orientated 90 degrees off horizontal ie if she holds the iPad in Landscape, my image is displayed in Portrait at right angles to what it should be.

If she turns her iPad to Portrait, then my image flips to Landscape. Either way my face is 90 degrees off the orientation that it should be.
