why is my apple ID mail and the mail for sending me reset security info is different?

I was going to buy something from the app store but I mistyped my password twice but remembered it after that. But then, apple is requiring me to answer the Security Questions for verification. It happened that I dont remember the answers anymore. So I wanted to reset and make new passwords/answers again but when I was gonna try to click the Send reset security info email to c•••••@ymail.com I realized that the email written was one of my mails that doesnt exist anymore. and when i checked my account information with the apple ID and alternative emails verified, t'was not even included in there. what should be the possible solution? How can I change the e-mail that was automatically written on the link so that I can recieve the reset security info? Anyone?

The rescue email address is not the same as your alternate/secondary email addresses, they are different addresses/settings on an account, and it can only be changed by answering 2 of your security questions (if you could answer the questions above where you are seeing the link then you would be taken to a screen where you can change the address and the questions).

If you don't have access to that rescue email account then you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.

e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'

or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57

When they've been reset you can then use that screen to update your rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 . Or, if it's available in your country, you could change to 2-step verification : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5570
