Hi, im just wondering if anyone can answer my question,
i got an iphone about 2 months ago & ive been hearing rumours about the iphone 5 being discontinued?
As apple replace your current iphone if it developes a fault, what are they going to replace my iphone 5 with say 6 or 7 months down the line if it breaks?
because i know i dont want a cheep looking iphone5c. ? so whats going to happen?

If it's a warranty issue, you get the same model, color and capacity.

Yes. it is very common to stop making the old version when a new version is released. nothing new or unusual here.

With another iphone 5 just like the one you get replaced. Again, nothing new or unusual here.
Apple will keep years of stock of service units just as they have with earlier models
They will replace it with an identical model to yours.
Just because they are discontinuing the iPhone 5 from public sale doesn't mean they won't have stock, or that they can't manufacture more for replacement if the need arises.
