Ipad 2 with syncing with Exchange - contacts do not show up

I have an iPad 2. Everything works except my contacts. I have hundreds of contacts on my PC and on my iPhone and everything on the iPhone works fine. I show only one contact on my iPad and it is supposed to be syncing with MS Exchange 2007. The worst is the the one contact that shows up on my iPad is my ex wife:-) I have checked and everything on my iPhone and iPad are set up the same. Help me please.
